Pay Peanuts…
Thursday, 26th June 2008
A small Town in Poland has put a 17yr old chimp called Bobby on the payroll as a tourism promotions inspector.
His £70 a month is hardly peanuts which Bobby earns by promoting a district called Table Mountains with the local name ‘Monkey Rock’ playing to Bobby’s strengths.
Bobby the Chimp is driven around the region's capital Wroclaw with a sign on his back advertising the Table Mountains range.
If such open mindedness had been more prevalent in Napoleonic times the Hartlepudlians may never have got their nick name ‘Monkey Hangers’. For the time being Bobby will be staying away from promotional work in Hartlepool but he is considering an approach from a well known hot beverage brand.
If you are interested in some promotional work or visiting the Table Mountains or even Hartlepool why not do some research using Broadband
